Third Suspect captured in 7 Store Break Ins across the City and in Dortches.

TYSON BROADNAX was arrested by RMPD overnight. He was sought for charges with the crimes listed below.

Last week BROADNAX led HCSO deputies on a chase and got away. He is now in custody.

NCSO and RMPD are still investigating.

 

Friday, 02/22/2019, Michael Jones and William Spellman were charged with the rash of commercial break-ins involving cigarette thefts.  In a span of 4 days, they did 7.  5 in Rocky Mount and 2 in Nash County.  Cases here are listed below.

2019-001034 / 02-19-2019 / Express Food Mart – 650 Jeffreys Road

2019-001060 / 02-20-2019 / E.P. Mart – 2420 North Church Street

2019-001063 / 02-20-2019 / Citgo – 1001 North Church Street

2019-001096 / 02-20-2019 / Piggly Wiggly – 418 West Thomas Street

2019-001097 / 02-21-2019 / Fuel Doc – 14443 U.S. 64 Alt. West Hwy.

2019-00335 & 2019-00338 are the cases for N.C.S.O.  This is Smith’s Red & White getting hit back to back nights (02/21-02/22).  Mr. Jones was involved with both & Mr. Spellman one.
