Cocaine and paraphernalia seized during search warrants
Roanoke Rapids – The City County Drug Task Force, Hazardous Entry and Arrest Team and the Investigative Division of the Halifax County Sheriff’s office executed two search warrants in Roanoke Rapids on Wednesday June 27, 2018.
At approximately 12:24pm, a search warrant was executed in the 400 block of A Street. A Street is in the South Rosemary area off of Oak Street. During the search of the residence agents seized drug paraphernalia.
This residence had been identified as a “Trap House.” There wasn’t any clothing hung in any of the closets. There was a television, a couch, a mattress in a bedroom and a camera surveillance system at the residence.
No charges were filed, Agent D.J. Epperson will continue to follow-up on this residence.
At approximately 1:37pm, a search warrant was executed on a residence on Madison Street. During the search of the residence cocaine and drug paraphernalia was seized.
Agent D.W. McKeel arrested and charged Emazhae Foster, 21, for felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer. Foster was also served with outstanding warrants for assault on a female, conspiracy robbery with a dangerous weapon and second degree kidnapping. Those warrants had been obtained by Investigator Jeff Davis with the Roanoke Rapids Police Department.
Foster was given a July 18, 2018 court date.
