Crime takes a slight drop in May – Rocky Mount

During the month of May 2018 overall crime took a slight drop in Rocky Mount.

Incidents involving guns were cut in half.

5 people were injured in shootings, down from the previous month of 7.

Shootings into occupied dwellings are down by half at 5 vs 10 in April.

Breaking and Entering to Homes are down however, Breaking and Entering into vehicles are up.

There were no Homicides in May.
