After conducting an investigation into the sale of illegal narcotics, officers of the Tarboro Police Department, assigned to conduct street crime enforcement activities, assisted by the Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office and North Carolina Probation and Parole, executed a search warrant at a residence located along West Wilson Street in Tarboro.
Upon completion of the search, officers discovered a small quantity of powder cocaine intended for sale, three firearms, and several hundred rounds of ammunition. One of the firearms was located in a child’s bedroom. Once these items were seized, two residents of the home, identified as 37 year-old Antonio Wendell Archer and 26 year-old Marquitta Comisha Graham, were placed under arrest. A subsequent criminal history inquiry of these individuals revealed that Archer was a convicted felon.
