Dunlow charged in Nash County domestic related shooting

On Wednesday at approximately 12:45 p.m., the Roanoke Rapids police department’s Criminal Investigative Division and Nash County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in the 600 block of Pine Street and arrested and charged Brian Lee Dunlow, 44, of Roanoke Rapids, with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and possession of a firearm by felon.

The charges stem from a domestic related shooting in on Highway 581 in Nash County on Friday, March 23rd. A church group was helping a female move from her home shared with her boyfriend when the boyfriend, 44-year-old Brian Dunlow, returned to the house, he fired shots at 45-year-old Tyler Holmes, who was among those helping the woman move.

Dunlow had a $50,000 bond.
