Teenager arrested and served several outstanding warrants – Halifax

On Friday March 16, 2018 at approximately 4:00pm Roanoke Rapids Police Department’s Investigator O.L. Wiltsie and G.L. Williams were checking on a trespassing call in the 900 block of Washington Street when he came into contact with two subjects.  During the encounter Shyquon Dayvon Brown 19 of Roanoke Rapids gave officers a false name, as the investigation continued Investigators learned that Mr. Brown had numerous outstanding warrants and was an absconder from probation/parole.

Mr. Brown was arrested and charged with identity theft and resisting/delaying/obstructing an officer by Investigator Wiltsie and served outstanding warrants for assault on female, assault by strangulation and damage to property and an order for arrest for probation violation.

Mr. Brown was not given a bond and an April 4, 2018.
