Nash County Sheriffs Office tried to stop a black Chevy Volt today near the area of Oak Level Rd. the driver hit a patrol vehicle and evaded NCSO. The chase went from the Oak Level Rd area to Bethlehem Rd then to the Hazelwood area off of Nashville Rd where the occupants jumped from the car and ran near Carson Dr. They were immediately captured. A large amount of Heroin was also seized.
MONTRELL LAVAR PITT 22, was charged with conspiring to sell or deliver Heroin and has a $12,000 BOND
MICHAEL JEFFERSON 21, was charged with Possession with intent to sell Heroin and has a $12,000 BOND
QUATAVIOUS ARNEZ HUNTER 25 who was just released from jail on January 19th for a Home Invasion that occurred in Spring Hope on January 1st was charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon on a Government Official (as he was the driver) and Maintaining a Dwelling for the purpose of selling drugs. He has a $105,000 BOND
HERE IS THE STORY FROM THE HOME INVASION ARREST
Around 645PM on New Years Day a Home Invasion occurred on the 1300 Block of Wiley Rd in Spring Hope. Three Black males, two with masks on and one with no mask with dreads entered the home and robbed the homeowner. The homeowner was taken to the hospital with injuries.
NCSO has been investigating this matter since New Years day. Fighting Crime along with NCSO started receiving information that QUATAVIOUS ARNEZ HUNTER was involved in the home invasion
HUNTER turned himself in to the Nash County jail. He has been charged with Robbery and Assault with a Deadly weapon and has a $50,000 bond.
QUATAVIOUS ARNEZ HUNTER 25, has a record dating back to 2009 with convictions of Larceny and Robbery. HUNTER spent a little over 3 years in Prison for Robbery. Back in 2012 Hunter was charged with four others with attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery then convicted of robbery of a 22 year old that he had met at a Greenville night club. He was currently off of probation and only shows a pending court case for a speeding ticket in Wayne county.
